Corrugated Week’s Keynote Speakers
On Tuesday, September 20, at 10:30am, Steve York, a noted leader in the corrugated industry for over 46 years, will share his unique career journey beginning in 1974 with a four-year stint as a summer/hourly employee at US Corrugated in Lincoln, IL, to his retirement in 2020 as the Senior Vice President Engineering and Manufacturing Services at WestRock. Titled “What I Learned in my 46-Year Summer Job in Corrugated Packaging that Might Help You” highlights lessons learned, missed opportunities, and successful techniques honed throughout a fascinating and successful career.
On Wednesday, September 21, at 10:30am, Corrugated Week attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from Michael J. Durant, a former Blackhawk pilot, prisoner of war, author of In the Company of Heroes, and inspiration for the movie Black Hawk Down. Durant shares his experiences as a soldier and hostage and their relationship to his commitment to leadership, teambuilding and growth.
